  4. Hello,
Fantastic app, I have been waiting for this. My only problem is that none of the posters for films or TV show on my laptop, even thought they are present on the XBMC.

I am running Windows 8 Enterprise, XBMC on Raspberry Pi and my media on a NAS.

    thank you again,

    • Thanks for trying. Are you using Eden or new nightly builds. The application is not yet supported on Frodo builds.

        Hello,

        When Frodo support is coming?
I also use Raspbmc in my Raspberry PI and it uses XBMC Frodo.

XBMC Frodo RC3 is released on January 3rd, 2013 and final release is coming soon.

Another thing. It should be very nice feature if it was possible send text from computer keyboard to XBMC plugins like Youtube which makes using search lots of easier.

    • Thanks Mike. This is helpful.
Can you tell me when it crashes? Is it as soon as you land on the start page or after you click on movies or some other option?

Also, how many movies/music etc do you have in your collection?

I recently learned that windows 8 grouped grid view is not expected to handle large collection. I have updated the UI to handle this and submitted an update.
But if you could provide more information, I can be more confident about the fix.

Also, you can always mail me -> ashterisk @ live.com and I can try connecting directly. That will help a lot.

    Hello !

I do not have so much time to test the different kind of configurations to make it work…
So I cannot connect to Eden. I have open the access to local clients but it still does not work.

Why is there not even a single page of documentation ? I believe it should be nice. The parameters needed are from XBMC’s side. I do not want to open all the flux to try it, then tune to remove any unneeded ports.

    Many thanks for your answer.

I really love this app. having an issue with scrolling through seasons in a tv show though. And if you guys made a media player with this layout and ability to find network files, that would be amazing. The current ones out (Multimedia 8 seems to be the best) don’t have a great UI like this app.

Can this also work with XBMC4XBOX? If not, would be great if when setting up a device profile you could choose between XBMC and XBMC4XBOX as I still have a mix of XBMC devices in my house.

With Frodo at RC2, will you be adding Frodo support shortly?

    December 21, 2012 at 9:55 pm

  14. Mike

You need to update your app as it will not work with xbmc Frodo as they changed the way things are connected to it.

    January 3, 2013 at 8:23 am

    • The current version support Frodo. Let me know if it works or not for you. thanks.

Great app!! The only thing I’m missing at this time is the possibility to change to different Xbmc servers / sessions.

    February 11, 2013 at 8:56 am

    • You can setup multiple XBMC server from settings. Swipe from right and click on connections to add additional servers

I cant seem to get the remote page to work right. Everything else works great, but the remote with the arrow buttons, volume control, etc. produces no effect. I have tried some other remote apps that work fine with this feature, but I think that this app would beat all of them if the remote page worked. I am running with the trial version from the store on the surface RT. Once I can get the remote to work I will buy the app.

    February 22, 2013 at 3:58 pm

    • I will look into it. Can you let me know the XBMC version you are using?

    Hi,
Fantastic app, the best for control XBMC from tablet Windows 8. But, if there an option to avoid updating the start screen with the wallpaper from the last film?
It’s cool when tablet only used for this, but, I use also it for professional and the wallpapers are not always appropriated…
    Thanks.

I am also having an issue with the remote page as well. I am running the latest version of Frodo on XBMCUbuntu. Other than the remote issue, the app is great!
