Torrent Buddy for Windows 8

Finally Torrent Buddy for Windows 8 has passed certification and will soon be available on marketplace. Some info about the app –

Torrent Buddy is a client application to control and communicates with your uTorrent client/webserver running on your PC. This is pretty handy to look at the status of your torrents and control them as needed. What’s unique about Torrent Buddy compared to other apps on market place is that it lets you add new torrents from any website via file download or magnet links.
Features –
1. Ability to Start, Stop, Pause, Delete torrents.
2. View torrent details in a pretty list as well as drill down to get more details.
3. Manage multiple utorrent servers from single app.
4. Support for adding new torrent via file download or magnet links
NOTE – Torrent Buddy require users to run uTorrent on their PC which is available from http://www.utorrent.com

App should be available to download from – http://apps.microsoft.com/windows/app/torrent-buddy/7fb281ae-fab6-44c0-9bdf-b3f0e7112090

  2. Hi!

Thank you for the great app. Here is list of features wich will make it even better 😉

    1. Multiple actions (select multiple torrents and remove/start/stop)
    2. Allow set downloads folder share(!) path and allow open files directly from it
    3. Select download location. I don’t know if API allows browse server directories, so there 3 available implementations:
3.1. Simple one (without API-hacks and hardcore): allow enter path from keyboard (relative to download directory set in server settings) and later allow select it from recent paths list (it’s very important to have recents list)
3.2. API-related (if allowed): just allow to browse (but would be great to have recent paths list too)
3.3. Hardcore: allow to enter default downloads folder share path, and then browse into it when selecting download location (also see 2)
    4. RSS
    5. Rename torrent in list
    6. Change download location of already downloaded torrent

Most simple and important is 1 and 3.1 I think 😉

    Thank you!
